The weather here is typical for a North Carolina town; if you don't like the weather now, give it an hour. The weather is fairly unpredictable and always changing. We may see one or two snow showers per year, but the snow is usually gone within a day two. Most years, you can wear a t shirt through November and often times into December, but when January hits, it gets too cold. It can drop down into the teens and usually does at night from mid-Jan through March. The hottest months, like anywhere, are July and August--most days during these months are in the high 90's to 100's. It's definitely a good time to relax with some Southern Sweet Tea!!

The population is over 100,000 people and growing; folks are consistently moving to the area for the lifestyle and also to be closer to the Research Triangle Park area. They come here to slow down and to get more home for the money.

The town is full of tree lined streets and void of bill boards and high flying tacky signs and the town council has done an impeccable job of creating a serene village like appeal.

There is also an Amtrack station in Cary that will take you where you want to go. Hop on a train and go to Charlotte, North Carolina or take a train up to Raleigh. It is an inexpensive and exciting way to travel.
