In the heart of the North Carolina Triangle is the town of Morrisville; it is equidistant from Durham and Raleigh; the town is South of Durham, Northwest of Cary, East of Chapel Hill, and West of Raleigh.

Brief History: The town was named after Jeremiah Morris who donated 3 acres of land to the North Carolina Railroad back in 1852. Jeremiah also opened the town's first post office in 1852 and served as the post master. In 1856 the railroad was completed that connected from Charlotte to Goldsboro and included Morrisville and Cary along the way. The town was chartered in 1875 and rechartered in April 3, 1947.
